Degree Sequence

A degree sequence is a list that shows how many connections each node (or point) in a network has. In a social network, for example, it lists the number of friends each person has. The sequence arranges these counts in non-increasing order (from highest to lowest). It helps analyze the network's structure, indicating how connected or centralized it is. Understanding degree sequences can reveal patterns like hubs or isolated nodes and are fundamental in studying the properties and behavior of complex networks.
