Decibel Level

Decibel level is a way to measure the intensity or loudness of sound. It is expressed on a logarithmic scale, meaning that small increases in decibels represent significant increases in loudness. For example, conversational speech is around 60 dB, while a rock concert can reach 120 dB. The scale allows us to compare sounds of different loudness levels easily.
