Dean drive
The Dean Drive is a hypothetical propulsion concept proposed in the 1950s, claiming to produce motion without traditional fuel or thrusters by using others' reaction forces. It suggests a device could generate a thrust internally by shifting parts within itself, creating an imbalance that pushes the whole system forward. However, scientific experiments have consistently shown that such devices violate fundamental laws of physics, particularly conservation of momentum. Thus, the Dean Drive is considered a pseudoscientific idea and not a viable method of propulsion.
