Deal and Kennedy
The Deal and Kennedy model is a way to classify organizational cultures based on how much visibility and feedback employees have, and how much risk is involved in their work. It includes four types: 1. **Work-hard Play-hard**: Fast-paced, high energy with lots of recognition, like sales teams. 2. **Tough-Guy/Macho**: High risk and immediate feedback, common in finance or sports. 3. **Bet-Your-Company**: Large decisions with delayed feedback, typical in industries like oil or aerospace. 4. **Process**: Emphasizes accuracy, consistency, and following procedures, often found in government or manufacturing. It helps understand how organizations motivate and manage their staff.
