De-SPAC Process

The De-SPAC process involves a publicly traded "blank check" company (SPAC) merging with or acquiring a private business to take it public. Initially, the SPAC raises capital through an IPO without an existing operating business. When it finds a target company, it combines with or acquires it, effectively transferring ownership to the public markets. This process allows the private company to go public more quickly and with less traditional scrutiny compared to a direct IPO. After the merger, the combined entity continues to operate as a public company, with new shares traded on stock exchanges.
