Davy Crockett

Davy Crockett was an American frontiersman, folk hero, and politician born in 1786. Known as the "King of the Wild Frontier," he gained fame for his adventurous life, including hunting and exploring in the wilderness. He served as a U.S. Congressman from Tennessee and was an advocate for frontier interests. Crockett is most famously associated with the Battle of the Alamo in 1836, where he fought and died during the Texan fight for independence from Mexico.
