David Teniers the Younger

David Teniers the Younger (1610–1690) was a Belgian painter renowned for his lively, detailed scenes of everyday life, especially peasant life, village festivals, and tavern gatherings. His work often captures humorous or candid moments with warm realism, showcasing a keen eye for character and atmosphere. Teniers was also skilled in depicting art collections and storage rooms, blending genre scenes with elements of portraiture and still life.
