David D. Wechsler was an influential psychologist best known for developing widely used intelligence tests, including the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS) and the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC). His assessments measure different aspects of cognitive ability, such as verbal reasoning, memory, and problem-solving skills.
