DAS

Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) is a technology that turns existing fiber optic cables into a network of highly sensitive sensors. By sending light pulses through the fiber and analyzing how the light is disturbed, DAS can detect vibrations and sounds along the entire length of the cable. This allows for real-time monitoring of activities like seismic activity, pipeline integrity, or security breaches, over long distances with high precision.
