DarkMatter

Dark matter is a mysterious form of matter that makes up about 27% of the universe's total mass and energy. Unlike ordinary matter, it doesn’t emit, absorb, or reflect light, making it invisible and detectable only through its gravitational effects on galaxies and cosmic structures. While we can't see dark matter directly, its presence is inferred because galaxies would not hold together at their observed speeds without it. Scientists continue to study dark matter to understand its nature, hoping it will unlock deeper insights into the universe's composition and evolution.
