Dark City (film)

"Dark City" is a science fiction film that follows John Murdoch, who wakes up with amnesia in a mysterious, constantly changing city. He discovers he has the ability to manipulate reality due to the city’s rulers—mysterious beings called the Strangers—who secretly control time and memory to study human behavior. As Murdoch unravels the conspiracy, he seeks to uncover his own identity and find freedom from the oppressive control.
