Dardanians

The Dardanians were an ancient people living in the region roughly corresponding to modern-day Kosovo and parts of southeastern Europe. They are often associated with the Illyrians, an early group of tribes in the Balkans. Historically, the Dardanians interacted with the Greeks and Romans, sometimes resisting conquest and at other times integrated into larger empires.
