DApps

DApps, or decentralized applications, are software programs built on blockchain technology that operate without a central authority or server. Instead, they run on a network of computers (nodes), making them more transparent, resistant to censorship, and often more secure. Examples include decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms and blockchain games. Because they’re open-source and operated through smart contracts, DApps enable users to interact directly with each other or with the application's features, reducing dependence on traditional intermediaries like banks or app companies.
