DAP
DAP, or Delivered At Place, is a shipping term from international trade agreements. It means the seller is responsible for delivering the goods to a specific location agreed upon with the buyer, ready for unloading. The seller handles most of the transportation costs and risks until the goods arrive at that destination. Once the goods reach the designated place, the buyer takes over responsibility for unloading and any import clearance or duties. DAP simplifies international shipping by clearly defining responsibilities, ensuring the seller manages transportation up to the agreed point, while the buyer manages import and final delivery.
