Danish government

Denmark's government is a parliamentary democracy, meaning that elected representatives make decisions on behalf of the people. The government is led by the Prime Minister, who heads the executive branch, while the Parliament (Folketinget) makes laws and oversees the government. The Parliament has 179 members elected every four years. Denmark also has a constitutional monarchy, where the Monarch is a symbolic figurehead with no real power. Political power is exercised through elected officials, and the country emphasizes transparency, social welfare, and consensus-driven policymaking. This system ensures democratic representation, stability, and social cohesion.
