Dall sheep
Dall sheep are North American bighorn sheep known for their striking white coats and impressive curved horns. Native to northern regions like Alaska and Canada, they are highly adapted to cold mountainous environments. They have strong legs and specialized hooves for climbing rocky cliffs, which help them escape predators and find food. Male Dall sheep, called rams, develop large, curled horns over time, while females, ewes, have smaller horns. These sheep are social animals, living in groups called herds, and play a vital role in their alpine ecosystems. Their distinctive appearance and agility make them easily recognizable.
