Dall's sheep

Dall's sheep are wild sheep native to the northern parts of North America, particularly Alaska and northwest Canada. They have thick, white woolly coats that help insulate them in cold Arctic and sub-Arctic climates. Males, called rams, grow large, curved horns, while females, ewes, have smaller horns or none at all. They are highly adapted to rugged mountainous terrains, where they live in herds that move across steep slopes and cliffs to find food and avoid predators. Their striking white appearance provides some camouflage in snowy environments, aiding in their survival in harsh, cold regions.
