Dacians

The Dacians were an ancient people who lived in the region now known as Romania and surrounding areas, around 1,000 years ago. They were known for their skilled metalworking, especially in gold and silver, and for building strong mountain fortresses. The Dacians fought against the Roman Empire when it tried to conquer their territory in the early 2nd century AD.
