Dabiq (magazine)

Dabiq was a bilingual online magazine published by the Islamic State (ISIS) from 2014 to 2016. It aimed to promote ISIS's ideology, recruit followers, and showcase its propaganda through articles, images, and videos. Named after a town in Syria significant to Islamic prophecy, the magazine emphasized themes of jihad, martyrdom, and the establishment of an Islamic caliphate. Dabiq served as a strategic communication tool for ISIS to influence a global audience and convey its messages before it was discontinued in 2016, succeeded by other publications as the group's media strategy evolved.
