Délire

Délire, or delirium, is a sudden and severe change in mental state characterized by confusion, disorientation, and difficulty focusing. It often develops quickly and can include hallucinations or delusions. Delirium is usually caused by an underlying medical issue, such as infections, medication effects, or metabolic imbalances. It differs from long-term mental illnesses because it is typically temporary and reversible once the cause is treated.
