The Czechoslovakia national team was the football (soccer) team representing the former country of Czechoslovakia, which existed from 1918 until its peaceful separation into the Czech Republic and Slovakia in 1993. The team competed in international tournaments such as the FIFA World Cup and UEFA European Championship, achieving notable successes including reaching the World Cup finals in 1934 and 1962, and winning the European Championship in 1976.
