Czechoslovak koruna
The Czechoslovak koruna (CZK) was the currency used in Czechoslovakia, a Central European country. Introduced in 1919, it facilitated daily transactions and economic activities. After the peaceful split of Czechoslovakia into the Czech Republic and Slovakia in 1993, the koruna remained the official currency of the Czech Republic, while Slovakia adopted the euro in 2009. The currency featured images of national landmarks and figures, reflecting Czech culture. Today, the koruna is managed by the Czech National Bank and functions as the country's primary monetary unit, representing the nation's economic stability and identity.
