Cypress Tree
A cypress tree is a type of coniferous tree known for its aromatic, water-resistant wood and distinctive shape. It often has a conical or rounded crown and can grow in a variety of environments, including wetlands and dry areas. Cypress trees play important ecological roles by providing habitat for wildlife and helping stabilize soil. Some species, like the bald cypress, have unique features such as "knees"—mushroom-shaped root projections—that emerge from the water, aiding in oxygen intake and anchoring. They are valued for their timber, ornamental qualities, and ecological importance.
