Cycladic civilization

The Cycladic civilization flourished around the Aegean Islands during the Bronze Age, roughly from 3200 to 1100 BCE. It is best known for its distinctive marble sculptures and figurines, characterized by abstracted, minimalist forms with smooth surfaces. The society was maritime-based, engaged in trading and fishing, and developed advanced craftsmanship and artistry.
