Cybernetic organisms

A cybernetic organism, often called a "cyborg," combines biological and electronic or mechanical systems to enhance or restore functions. It integrates living tissue with artificial components, such as sensors, processors, or limbs, allowing the organism to perform tasks or recover abilities beyond natural limits. This merging can occur naturally, like in medical implants, or artificially, through advanced robotics and bioengineering. Essentially, cybernetic organisms are systems where biological and technological parts work together seamlessly, blurring the line between humans and machines for improved performance, health, or capabilities.
