Cuttlefish

Cuttlefish are marine animals related to squids and octopuses, known for their remarkable ability to change color and texture rapidly. They use this skill for communication, camouflaging from predators, and hunting prey. Their unique internal shell, called a cuttlebone, helps control buoyancy, allowing them to float at different depths. Cuttlefish have highly developed eyes that provide excellent vision and complex brains, making them intelligent among invertebrates. They inhabit shallow coastal waters, hunting small fish, crustaceans, and mollusks. Their fascinating behavior and adaptive camouflage make them impressive examples of marine adaptability.
