Customs-Trade Partnership Program
The Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) is a voluntary initiative between U.S. Customs and import/export companies. It aims to strengthen security in the supply chain by encouraging businesses to implement best practices for preventing terrorism and illegal activities. In return, trusted companies may experience faster border processing and fewer inspections, reducing delays and costs. The program promotes collaboration between government agencies and industry to ensure safer, more reliable international trade.
