Curvature of Spacetime

Curvature of spacetime is a way to describe how gravity works in Einstein's theory of General Relativity. Instead of imagining gravity as a force, it considers space and time as a single, four-dimensional fabric. Massive objects like stars and planets create dents or curves in this fabric. When objects move near these dents, they follow curved paths, which we perceive as gravity. So, the presence of mass and energy changes the shape of spacetime, and this curvature guides the motion of objects around them. In essence, gravity is the effect of spacetime being curved by mass and energy.
