Curiosity Landing

The Curiosity landing was NASA’s successful mission to deliver a robotic rover to Mars in 2012. The rover’s goal is to explore the planet’s surface, analyze rocks and soil, and search for signs of past life. The landing involved a complex sequence called “entry, descent, and landing,” where the spacecraft entered Mars’ atmosphere, slowed down with a parachute, and used rockets to gently land on the surface. It was a major technical achievement, allowing scientists to study Mars directly and gather vital data about its environment and history.
