cupping bowl
A cupping bowl is a small glass, silicone, or ceramic vessel used in cupping therapy, a traditional form of alternative medicine. During a cupping session, the bowl is placed on the skin, and a vacuum is created inside, either by heat or suction, which causes the skin and underlying tissues to be gently drawn into the cup. This process is believed to promote blood flow, reduce muscle tension, and enhance healing. Cupping is commonly used for pain relief, relaxation, and various musculoskeletal issues, with markings sometimes left on the skin that typically fade within a few days.
