Cumulative probability
Cumulative probability is the likelihood that a random event or value will fall into a certain range or below a specific point. It helps us understand the chance that something will occur up to a particular threshold. For example, if you look at test scores and find the cumulative probability for scores up to 80, you're seeing the percentage of students who scored 80 or less. It’s a way to see the total probability accumulated from the lowest possible value up to a chosen point, helping us evaluate the overall likelihood of outcomes within a range.
