Cumaean Sibyl

The Cumaean Sibyl was an ancient Greek and Roman prophetess believed to possess special knowledge of the future. She was associated with Cumae, a Greek colony in Italy, and was thought to deliver divine messages through prophetic lines and oracles. The most famous account is from the Roman poet Virgil’s "Aeneid," where the Sibyl guides Aeneas to the underworld. Representing the mystical link between humans and the divine, she symbolizes wisdom, foresight, and the mysterious nature of prophecy in classical mythology.
