Cue
A cue is a signal or prompt that initiates an action or response. In various contexts, it can refer to a physical sign, a spoken word, or an event that indicates someone should start speaking, performing, or reacting. For example, in theater, a cue might be a line or sound that tells actors or crew when to begin their next action. In other situations, cues help us recognize when to respond or change behavior, often based on conditioned signals or environmental hints. Essentially, cues act as triggers that guide timing and coordination in different activities.
