Cubital tunnel syndrome
Cubital tunnel syndrome occurs when the ulnar nerve, which runs along your elbow, becomes compressed or irritated as it passes through a narrow channel called the cubital tunnel. This can lead to numbness, tingling, or weakness in the ring and little fingers, as well as hand weakness or difficulty with fine movements. It often results from repetitive elbow movements, leaning on the elbow, injury, or anatomical factors. Symptoms may worsen with activity or sustained elbow bending. Treatment options range from activity modifications, braces, or therapy to, in some cases, surgical procedures to relieve nerve pressure and restore function.
