Cuban Intelligence Service

The Cuban Intelligence Service (Servico de Inteligencia de Cuba, or SIS) is Cuba's primary national intelligence agency responsible for gathering information, conducting espionage, and protecting the country's security. It operates both domestically and internationally to monitor threats, political developments, and foreign interests. The SIS also works to influence perceptions and maintain the government’s stability. Similar to intelligence agencies worldwide, it uses a variety of methods, including surveillance, covert operations, and human intelligence sources, to fulfill its mission of safeguarding Cuba’s national sovereignty.
