CT scanning

A CT scan, or computed tomography scan, is a medical imaging procedure that uses X-rays and computers to create detailed cross-sectional images of the body's internal structures. During the scan, the patient lies on a table that moves through a circular opening while an X-ray beam rotates around the body. The data collected is processed by a computer to produce layered images, allowing doctors to examine bones, organs, and tissues with high clarity. CT scans are valuable for diagnosing injuries, diseases, and conditions more precisely than regular X-rays.
