CT Scanners (Computed Tomography)
A CT scanner, or computed tomography scanner, is a medical imaging device that uses X-rays and computers to create detailed, cross-sectional images of the inside of the body. Unlike regular X-rays, which produce flat pictures, a CT scan provides layered images, revealing bones, organs, and tissues with high clarity. The scanner rotates around the patient, capturing multiple images from different angles, which are then combined by a computer to produce a detailed 3D view. This helps doctors diagnose conditions like injuries, tumors, and infections more accurately and quickly.
