CSUN Jazz Studies Program

The CSUN Jazz Studies Program offers students professional-level training in jazz performance, theory, and history. It combines individual instruction, group ensembles, and coursework to develop skills in improvisation, musicianship, and collaboration. Students have opportunities to perform in live settings, participate in recordings, and connect with a vibrant jazz community. The program prepares students for careers as performers, educators, or industry professionals by fostering both artistic growth and technical expertise in jazz music.
