CSTO
The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) is a political and military alliance of several post-Soviet states, primarily in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Established in 1992, its goal is to promote mutual security, defense cooperation, and stability among member countries. If one member is attacked, others commit to assist, similar to NATO's collective defense principle. The organization conducts joint military exercises, shares intelligence, and can deploy peacekeeping forces when needed. CSTO aims to ensure regional security, deter external threats, and coordinate responses to internal crises among its member states.
