CST Principles

CST Principles, or Catholic Social Teaching Principles, are guidelines that guide how we treat others and address social issues. They include respect for human dignity, the belief that everyone has worth; the common good, focusing on what benefits all members of society; subsidiarity, empowering individuals and local groups to make decisions; solidarity, recognizing our shared humanity and responsibility for others; and the option for the poor, prioritizing the needs of society's most vulnerable. These principles help shape ethical actions and policies that promote justice, fairness, and humane treatment for all people.
