CSA programs
CSA programs, or Community Supported Agriculture programs, are partnerships between consumers and local farms. Customers buy a share or subscription upfront, providing farmers with funds at the beginning of the season. In return, they receive regular deliveries of fresh, seasonal produce directly from the farm throughout the growing season. This model supports local agriculture, reduces transportation, and fosters a closer connection between consumers and where their food comes from. CSA programs often include vegetables, fruits, and sometimes other farm products, promoting sustainable and community-oriented food practices.
