Cryptosporidium canis

Cryptosporidium canis is a microscopic parasite that infects dogs, causing gastrointestinal issues like diarrhea. It is one of several species of Cryptosporidium, which can sometimes also infect humans, especially those with weakened immune systems. The parasite is transmitted through contaminated water, food, or contact with infected animals. It survives in the environment for some time and is resistant to many disinfectants.
