Cryogenic propellant

Cryogenic propellants are fuels cooled to extremely low temperatures, making them liquids that are much denser than their gaseous forms. Common examples include liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen. These propellants are used in rocket engines because their high energy density provides more thrust for less weight, which is vital for space missions. However, storing and handling cryogenic liquids require specialized insulated tanks and careful management due to their extremely low temperatures, as they tend to evaporate or boil off if not properly contained.
