Cronus

Cronus, also spelled Kronos, is a figure from Greek mythology, often depicted as the titan of time. He was the son of Uranus (the sky) and Gaia (the earth). Cronus is best known for overthrowing his father to become ruler of the gods, but he was later overthrown by his own son, Zeus. Symbolically, he represents the relentless passage of time and its often destructive or transformative effects. In stories, he is sometimes associated with harvest and agriculture, but primarily, he symbolizes the concept of time that eventually consumes all.
