Critical region

The critical region is a specific set of possible outcomes in a statistical test that, if observed, lead us to reject the idea (null hypothesis) that we started with. It's like a threshold: if the data falls within this region, it suggests there's enough evidence to believe something new or different is true. Outside this region, we don't have enough evidence to reject the initial assumption. Think of it as a "danger zone" where the results are considered unusual enough to question the original claim.
