Critical Phenomenology

Critical phenomenology is an approach that examines how individuals experience the world while also questioning the social, cultural, and political influences shaping those experiences. It seeks to understand personal perceptions and feelings but goes beyond by analyzing how power structures, norms, and biases impact what people see, feel, and interpret. By doing so, it aims to reveal underlying inequalities and encourage reflection on how societal factors influence individual consciousness, fostering a deeper awareness of both personal experience and broader social realities.
