Cricket scoring
Cricket scoring tracks runs made and wickets taken during a match. Batsmen score runs by hitting the ball and running between two set points, with each successful run adding to their team's total. Boundaries (hitting the ball to the edge of the field) score four runs if it hits the ground first, or six if it clears the boundary without bouncing. Bowlers aim to dismiss batsmen by hitting the stumps or inducing errors. The team with the most runs at the end of their innings wins. Scores are recorded in terms of runs and wickets, providing a clear picture of each team's performance.
