Crew Dragon Demo-2
Crew Dragon Demo-2 was a NASA and SpaceX mission launched in May 2020 to test SpaceX’s Crew Dragon spacecraft's ability to safely transport astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS) and return them to Earth. It was the first crewed launch launched from U.S. soil since the Space Shuttle era. The mission demonstrated operational capabilities, crew safety, and spacecraft reliability, marking a significant step toward routine commercial space travel. The astronauts onboard, Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley, spent about two months at the ISS before returning safely to Earth.
