Credo Mutwa

Credo Mutwa was a renowned South African Zulu shaman, healer, and author, born in 1921. He was known for his deep knowledge of African mythology, traditional healing, and cultural practices. Mutwa struggled against colonialism and apartheid, emphasizing the importance of African heritage. His works, including "Indaba, My Children," share rich stories of African traditions, folklore, and spirituality. He advocated for the recognition and preservation of indigenous cultures, blending wisdom from the past with contemporary issues. Mutwa was a significant figure in promoting awareness of Africa's diverse spiritual and cultural identities until his death in 2020.
