Credential Stuffing

Credential stuffing is a cyberattack where hackers use large sets of stolen usernames and passwords, often obtained from previous data breaches, to try accessing multiple online accounts. Since many people reuse passwords across different sites, attackers can quickly and automatically test these credentials across various services. If successful, they gain unauthorized access, potentially leading to data theft, financial loss, or identity theft. To protect yourself, use unique passwords for each account and enable two-factor authentication whenever possible.
